Creative, conscious UK rapper Otis Mensah to attack the renowned 'Open Mic' on Fubar Radio's Hiphop show
Otis Mensah is "a young story-teller-rapper-poet with a talent for drawing the poetic from the everyday happenings in his life.”
The alternative hip-hop artist has risen from a new wave; age and era, embodying a contemporary, poetic take on hip-hop music. The music he creates sheds light on existential commonalities discovered through introspection with often off-kilter lyrics, accompanied by a sentimental vibe.
Last year could not have gone better for Otis, with his single 'First Summer' landing BBC 1Xtra Introducing Track of The Week, his track 'Free The Slaves' was featured on BBC Radio One by Huw Stephens as Introducing Track of the week, a performance at Glastonbury 2017 on the BBC Introducing Stage, and his song 'Creep & Crawl' was selected by BBC Introducing Sheffield as Number 1 Track of the Year.
On the live circuit he has recently supported an abundance of various artists across the UK including; Arrested Development, Brother Ali, P.O.S, Abstract Orchestra, Lowkey, and Intch (The King Blues.)
Now he is to attack the Open Mic live via Fubar Radio's Hiphop show this Monday 26th February!
